Last Portal! CCS Website!

So Last Portal: Defense should be coming out VERY soon for iPhone and iTouch. New screen caps on the way soon. We re-tooled the graphics, gameplay, and UI over the last week and fixed some bugs as well. It has really come together and we're VERY excited to launch the app.

Also catscradlestudios.com is live at last! Check it out for more on the projects we've got going on.

Quick update

So we've got a ton of things going on. "Last Portal: Defense" is still coming, but we've gotta get a few more things working with it before its conversion to and compliance with the new 3.0 iPhone OS. Same can be said for "Sondzorz". And wait 'till u c Soundzorz! I'm really looking forward to the release of that project.

Also, we've got some other projects coming around. One more for iPhone and one other on PC. More info on the Cat's Cradle Studios site wen it goes live soon!

New OVM Video!

Organic Voodoo Machine - Puncture Wound (live 2009)

Organic Voodoo Machine was the center of my life for a long time. A "Hard Psychedelic Funk" band, we played everywhere we could within reach of our (then) hometown of Erie, PA. Tom Kitchen and I founded the band in 1997, soon Hook joined and we released our first CD a DECADE ago. After about 2.5 years with him on the low end we had a revolving door fo bass players - Jason Lewis and G. Coop (R.I.P.) even a former student of mine and OVM fan Dan Kern stepped in to play with us for a spell (that incarnation never got off of the ground), but "Dev and Tom" were always the core. Now in Phoenix, I was pumped when Tom rolled into town. We set up in my livingroom with an acoustic guitar, a cocktail kit, a mic, and a couple cameras and plowed through some tunes - including "Puncture Wound". It was the last song on our lst studio release (Plural, 2001) and I've been playing it live solo acoustic for years as it has remained one of my favorites from that era.

Hope u dig!

Hockey Golf coming soon - also Sea Snake 1.5 incoming

So the new update of Sea Snake (version 1.5) should be live any day now - more levels, music, and enemies with a better frame rate.

Also, we've been working on our next iPhone game - Hockey Golf. Think mini-golf in an ice rink... We're at an early alpha version now and expect to launch in about 2.5 weeks.

More 411 soon.

Sea Snake watch...

Peaked at #70 on the iPhone Arcade Games charts. I'll video myself doing a dance and upload it to the net if it gets in the top 50. New version is uploaded and expected to be released soon!

Sea Snake 1.5 coming soon

I just finished working on the new version of Sea Snake - featuring 10 new levels, new music (the first I recorded with my new reorder), more enemies, and more pickups! Look for it soon on iTunes.

Incidentally, Sea Snake continues to climb the ranks of iPhone (and iPod touch) apps - moving above LEGO Batman: Gotham City Games in the top Arcade apps.
